As a self-taught multi-hyphenate artist, Amy (Amori) Piñon (she/they) uses photography, videography, and a range of artistic mediums to disrupt conventional narratives and critique the very industries and institutions she works within. Her film 'And Other Oppressive Dynamics' garnered critical acclaim, winning Best Feature Documentary at the 2022 Local Sightings Film Festival. Seamlessly blending fiber arts, ceramics, digital design, sewing, modeling, and music into her artistic repertoire, her creativity defies categorization. Whatever she’s working on, she fights to bring her voice and physical body into spaces that have historically rejected it.

Athena(they/them) is an interdisciplinary artist/collaborator that enjoys composing and experimenting with visual- and sound-scapes, movement scores, fashion, and music. They can be heard in the polysonic vocalizations of House of Kilig’s short film i was never the siren and were featured in Barkada Baby’s Multitude in Me collection among other creative projects around Seattle. They are currently focusing creative energy on honing bass guitar and writing. When they’re not working on creative pursuits, they’re deepening their knowledge and connection to herbalism, plant medicine, birth- and deathwork.

Blossom Drearie is a trans Filipina drag goddess with a penchant for vintage fashion, divine femininity, and liberation. She’s passionate about building community on and off the dance floor.

Growing up in the rural province of Tien Giang, Vietnam, Dansơn witnessed his parents’ sacrifices for a better future when they immigrated to the land of hope. Despite facing challenges in fighting for acceptance—both in terms of his sexuality and the career he wanted to pursue—Dansơn’s journey was also one of self-acceptance. He found his community in the Interdisciplinary Visual Arts program at UW, where he learned invaluable skills ranging from printmaking and ceramics to sculpture building. With a passion for fashion and creativity, Dansơn helped establish MESH, a student-run organization bringing together fashion designers and enthusiasts in Seattle. His journey culminated in the launch of his first fashion line at UW’s inaugural fashion show, which showcased student designers and models. Though the future remains uncertain, Dansơn’s path to stardom feels clear, and he’s determined to turn his dreams into reality.

JJ Seabrook is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Washington studying Microbiology and plans to pursue a career in Medical Laboratory Sciences. Outside of being a student, JJ is passionate about and continues to advance his modeling career.

kai alviar horton (he/they) is a queer and trans man who is neurospicy af, a child of immigrant parents, existing in the multicultural pluriverse of the Pilipinx/Andean/Latinx diaspora. He is a poet, healer, and brujx born as a settler on the unceded homelands of the Chumash and Tongva people. They are a proud founding member of House of Kilig and spends his career advocating for trans liberation.

Mari Layson Roy (They/She/He) is a Filipino and queer performing artist and model with backgrounds in musical theatre, dance, and recently spoken word poetry. They are an alum of University of Washington Tacoma holding a bachelors degree in Ethnic, Gender, and Labor Studies. Roy was previously involved in various spaces of Filipino community organizing for 5 years. They strive to continuously pursue passion projects that intersect both their love for the arts, community engagement, and amplifying demands of social justice.

Movement Director | nawa angel a.h., widely known as Moonyeka, is a chimeric creator working across containers of performance, qt nightlife, writing, experimental media and the divine. They're a settler fluttering between their sprawling roots amidst Tongva, Chumash, Chinook, and Duwamish lands. Moonyeka conjures queer erotic joy, animism, Ilocano imagination, and beyond. They center kilig as a compass to imagine thriving worlds for their communities. Moonyeka has the honor of homing into their interdisciplinary instigations as an Artistic Director of House of Kilig. i was never the siren (2024) is a film re-myth of the Siren archetype; the first installment of their multimedia project 'Harana for the Aswang' realized with House of Kilig collaborators. Nawa draws upon queer and trans performance technologies in their writing, infusing nightlife, icon-myth-legend, drag, and kink. They work across a spectrum of genre: biomythography, hybrid, and the game writing. Recent publications include their multiverse of work centering Waling-Waling Orchids in smoke and mold; am i hot enough to kill?, an excerpt of (w)horrific hybrid prose, is featured in The Holy Hour anthology by Working Girls Press; FLASH-BANG featured in Lilac Peril. They've also been a curated writer for Khôra. waling-waling palpitations is their forthcoming, debut book with First Matters Press. It is a hybrid memoir full of lies. The text performs a surrealist 'drag' of an orchid encyclopedia in order to unbury the colonial displacement of their Ilocano matrilineal histories in queerness, gender, and love. The book experiments and interacts with performance, scanners, and photo-memory.

Choreographer | Gabriel Colón (they/them) is a queer, non-binary, mixed Puerto Rican movement artist and choreographer currently based out of Portland, OR. Their movement foundation is based in the street styles of breaking, popping and freestyling in the cypher. Known for their volcanic nature, Gabriel takes from their Borikén diaspora and transforms their movement into a story. Under the sun-drenched skies of Delano, California, a Filipino named ddayroc (he/him) blossomed, his spirit nurtured by the rhythms of soulful music. From curiosity, he learned to trust the symphony of his own body, each movement a brushstroke on the canvas. Originally from Medellin-Colombia, ZARA MARTINA LOPEZ (They/She) is a Seattle based dancer, DJ, teacher, performer, filmmaker and photographer.

Penty/P Nasty (they/he), originating from Skyway/South Seattle, is a queer Hmong American multidisciplinary artist with over 15 years of dance experience. They have pioneered the local open styles community, organizing sessions across the Puget Sound to promote growth in various street and club style dances. Throughout their journey, Penty has been involved as a competitor, judge, educator, event organizer and forever a perpetual student. Penty currently teaches hip hop at the Beacon Dance Studio. In response to navigating primarily male-dominated spaces, Penty established Emeralds Empire, a dance collective dedicated to celebrating and amplifying the voices of AFAB artists, thereby promoting representation within the arts. Inspired by dance's power for authenticity and self-expression, they devote themselves to uphold the foundations of their artistry by empowering others through movement, fostering confidence, encouraging self exploration, and cultivating inclusive spaces where individuals can thrive. Experience their diverse movements and dynamic energy, highlighted by their vibrant expressions every time they hit the floor.

Hair and Makeup Lead | Michelle Mai Smith is a makeup artist and hairstylist with over 12 years of experience working in the commercial, film and entertainment industries. She has been a proud member of IATSE Local 488 since 2021 and loves to share her passions related to arts, music and entertainment with a special commitment to sustainable and equitable practices. 

Having started working in the entertainment industry at just 17, Michelle has a deep understanding for the need for mentorship, guidance, and opening doors for those that hope to work in the industry. She strives to pay it forward, and hopes to be able to provide platforms and opportunities for underrepresented voices in the arts and film communities. 

An avid community organizer, Michelle has worked over the years with various organizations and non-profits in and around the PNW to help amplify the voices of local BIPOC artists and connect them with the greater community through events and fundraisers.

Sabine Maclise is a hairstylist based in Washington specializing in haircutting, special events styling, and vivid colors. She became a licensed professional in 2024 and has since had the opportunity to work directly under one of the top hairstylists in the state, refining her craft and expanding her skills.

Sabine’s journey into the beauty industry began at a young age, where she was captivated by the artistry and creativity behind hairstyling. Her enthusiasm grew over the years, eventually leading her to pursue formal education and a professional career. Since then, she has expanded her career by assisting in feature films and commercials while further building her skills in a salon environment. 

Sabine’s commitment to excellence and continuous learning sets her apart in the industry, and she looks forward to growing even further as she continues to collaborate with top-tier professionals and expand her artistic horizons.

Stylist | Losa ሎዛ Berhane (they/them) is a multi-disciplinary artist from Seattle, WA with roots in Tigray, Ethiopia. Losa’s creative practice incorporates modalities such as fashion, writing, visual art, modeling, storytelling and community organizing. Their art is a commitment to expressing the nuances and depths of human experience and advocating for mental health. Losa’s inspiration for art-making is to weave together spiritual wisdom, collective dreaming and transformation. Losa hopes their art-making lends an opportunity for connection—to exhale, to engage, to heal, and to co-create Toni Morrison’s “active peace” centered in Black queer, femme, gender-diverse, and disability liberation.  At 16, Losa’s drawings were commissioned by the City of Burien. Losa’s poetry has been featured in the Washington State Queer Poetry Anthology, the Seattle Art Museum, A Space Inside, and The Vibe Room Publication. Losa is a member of Writing Black at The House, a writing and performance collective. Losa has creative directed and designed photoshoot sets, styled for Chapstick Magazine, runway shows and wardrobe clients. They also enjoy pouring into their Fashion and Lifestyle Blog, Love Letters to Self.

Photo Assistant | Rianna Pangelinan(she/they) is a queer Pasifika artist and fashion designer, currently working in physical therapy.  They are an indigenous Chamorro from Tinian, currently based in Duwamish, Coast Salish Territory also known as Seattle. They weave inspiration from their family, community, and culture into their work.

Photographer | As an Event and Concert photographer I primarily use photography to create a more permanent memory of the moments we share and allow us to appreciate something more than we could in motion. There’s nothing I enjoy more in my work than giving moments a more permanent form and supporting the communities I'm a part of in the way I best know how, and I’m excited to continue this work as a part of this upcoming Living Waling Waling show!

Videographer | Edgar De La Vega is a Seattle-based photographer and videographer, specializing in events, concerts, fashion, and creative projects. His work centers on vibrant, editorial-style storytelling, with a focus on showcasing the beauty and resilience of marginalized communities. Through his lens, Edgar amplifies diverse voices and captures bold, detailed visuals that celebrate inclusivity and individuality.

Stage Manager | V Babida is a queer Filipinx herbalist, basket weaver, creative producer, and visual artist based in Seattle on Duwamish Land. They are passionate about experimenting with mediums — currently they are obsessed with creating collages and sending fun snail mail to friends. V is a Creative Producer for House of Kilig, and if you’ve attended any HOK events then you have likely seen them running operations behind the scenes.

They work as a freelance writer with work featured in The Seattle Collegian and Real Change News. Their works focus on community, queer stories and identity. While not writing Orlando likes to dive into photography and be next to bodies of water.

Videographer | Xandra Yugto is a Filipino-American filmmaker and visual storyteller passionate about creating intentional work that bridges culture, community, and representation. With a BA in Filmmaking and a foundation in photography and digital media, she uses her lens to amplify underrepresented voices, particularly through documentary and narrative storytelling. From the moment she could walk, Xandra has been capturing the world through a camera. Her creative journey deepened after discovering Alice Wu’s The Half of It, which helped her recognize not only the storytelling power of the camera, but also her own voice as an artist being true to herself. Her work often explores the question, “Why do we feel the way we feel?”, leaning into themes of emotion, identity, and memory. Xandra is the writer, director, and executive producer of MAHAL, a personal short film inspired by her parents’ love story and rooted in the traditions and warmth of Filipino culture. The film explores themes of heritage and intergenerational memory. Beyond film, she has collaborated with arts organizations like the Seattle Art Museum, 5th Avenue Theatre, Ascendance Pole & Aerial Arts and Tasveer Film Festival. Whether through film, photography, dance, or song, Xandra is driven by a mission to tell stories that will be remembered for decades to come.
